Pio's Kitchen

We’d like to introduce one of the places we absolutely love! Pio’s Kitchen! I met Chef Chin and Mon last year when I wanted to surprise my wife for a unique dining experience for our 2nd anniversary and boy was it totally worth it! We walked away stuffed and happy! But more than that we also walked away with new found friendships that would later on develop that we got to shoot Mon and Chin’s beautiful wedding and we also got them to cater for an intimate celebration for Caitlin’s first birthday!

When we saw that they recently transferred to a new and bigger place and with the wife’s preggo cravings; we definitely needed to drop by again! Since I saw that I will be working this coming Father’s Day, we decided to celebrate it earlier! 🙂

We had one word for to describe this place.. it was pinterest-able! Natural light just filled the entire place and everything was just so easy on the eyes! Caitie loved it immediately and explored around trotting with her kitty cat in tow. We were greeted with Melon Basil coolers that was just refreshing!

Now let’s talk about the food! When Chef asked us what we wanted for lunch, we just told her to surprise us! So here was the menu that we tried:

– Triple Mushroom Soup with Truffle Oil

– Grilled Seafood Salad with Citrus Orange Dressing

– Chorizo and Fresh Tomato Pasta for Caitie

– Baked Salmon with Lemon and Caper Sauce

– Paella Bagnet with Eggplant Chimichurri (ALL THUMBS UP!)

– Churros and Leche Flan with Hot Chocolate Dip

I got hungry again looking back at these photos! The love that goes in preparing these meals are just amazing. 🙂

These are the battle scars of a seasoned chef! Bow!

After being stuffed to the brim, we just exchanged stories while Caitie would play hide and seek and roam the lovely garden outside. Chef Chin and Mon are also expecting a little bundle of joy soon and we’re excited for future play dates! 🙂

Our lunch suddenly turned to a whole afternoon affair in this homey abode! Pio’s Kitchen is just the perfect gastronomic getaway in the metro that will leave your tummies full and heart filled with happiness. 🙂
