A Legacy Project

August 29, 2016

Being exposed and volunteering in medical mission while I was growing up, i believe it was God’s way of grooming my heart of compassion for the sick.

Whenever Caitie would get sick at a young age until our greatest battle, there was just a strong burden to want to be able to talk to our neighboring patients and parents just to encourage and be one with the fears and pains of sickness.

When Caitie got sick with dengue, there was a patient in the other hall that was comatose already and the parents had a mountain of bills to pay. After being discharged, I still decided to visit and spend time and lend my itouch and speakers filled with Christian music for the parents. I didn’t know what to tell the parents. I just kept silent and brought it a mom who had lost a child.
